Grammy nominated artist, Tamar Davis, a native Houstonian is scheduled to release her independent album "My Name is Tamar..." in 2010. Tamar has performed on Prince's 3121 album, BET awards, Brit Awards, Saturday Night Live, Good Morning America and performed an 11-city tour with the music icon. Currently touring with entertainment mogul Tyler Perry, Tamar has independently taken an initiative by using her own finances to complete her highly anticipated album and music video.
